This deerskin shopper from Dior is the newest reincarnation of the house’s infamous Cannage series. The tote is simple and practical, it works well with both working and casual outfit. Dior has been pushing its Cannage signature stitch to be the house’s icon. The pattern is discreet and elegant, the way everything Dior is. Salvatore Ferragamo Origami Tote

This Ferragamo Origami tote embodies the very spirits of the house: classy, elegant, minimalist and effortlessly stunning at the same time. Notice how the simple shape and refined details such as the folded corners and hanging logo charm on this bag make it outstanding and then the buttery soft Italian leather in this delicious creamy yellow color make it irresistible. Burberry Leather and Nylon Hobo

It is nice to see an almost-hardwareless (hence presumably less heavy) Burberry bag for a change after seasons of gorgeous-looking bags that unfortunately weight almost like a sand bag before putting anything in it. This Hobo is practical for everyday use and chic too.  I like that the signature Burberry check is discreetly printed tone-on-tone on the nylon portion of the bag making it noticeable only when observed closely. I feel that Burberry has over-exhausted the appeal of its check over the past few seasons but it is still what most people like about the brand too so this bag is a perfect balance for both sides. The price is not bad for a relatively non-basic Burberry bag either. Available at Nordstrom for USD895. The featured color is called Stone white, check out the pretty nice black color version too!

Chloé Shelby Shopper

Hello Gorgeous! I rarely call a bag so but when it is, i do. Chloé hit it again with Shelby! I have not reached the decline of highly-recommending the Paraty and Andy bags yet and now with Shelby, i will just send anyone who is asking for bag recommendations to the nearest Chloé store. Afterall, how wrong can you go? Shelby is also available in black and ‘Curcuma’ (fancy name for a color which looks like a slightly darker shade of mustard) but this Pink Berry is undeniably the most stunning. Available by pre-order only at Nordstrom for USD2,175. Quantity is limited and i am pretty sure is selling well right now.

Botkier Soft Pleated Tote

Who said that in difficult times like now, style has to be compromised? If you know the tricks, each of that hard-earned Dollars could be stretched. One of the simplest tricks is to know the brands. Botkier is one of few bag designers that offer great bags for reasonable money. Do not focus only on expensive canvas bags just because they are being carried on the runways or featured in print ads in Vogue – everyone has one of those. This Botkier tote is simple yet edgy and unpretentious. The best thing about it? The color purple, of course! The bag is also available in brown and black but then again, the other simplest trick of all is: add colors to your collection! Available at Nordstrom for USD650.

The Korean former singer and actress turn designer’s bags have been on the covet-list of the most stylish fashionistas around and for an obvious reason, they are exceptional piece of work! Look at this spin-off of the famous python square tote; I have not found any other python bag around that is as outstanding as this one for a while. Spare me from talking about the details and let the image do all the talking. Available at Vivre, being marked down from USD3,550 to USD2,130. The matt gold hardwares against the ivory python leather background: It just doesn’t get any better than this.

Coach New Harrison E/W Satchel

Men’s bags commonly come in a messenger, briefcase or tote shape so this satchel from Coach is something different and i am loving it. Let me start wit the material. The leather of the bag is rugged and rough, the way a man’s bag should be. I also like that the bag  is slouchy without structure,  making it look effortlessly cool somehow. On top of those, the size is neither too big nor too small making it handy without looking like a woman’s purse. Now, the best part of all is this baby can be both worn on a shoulder like a handbag (which is rare for man bags) and across the body like a messenger.

This bag is one of the many Coach leathergoods i love and will surely grow to love even more if i own it. If you should know, the best thing about Coach is not the CC fabric or canvas. It is all in the leather goods that age gracefully and stand the test of trendiness. Unlike the popular CC fabric bags, ithis model might not be made available at most Coach stores. Enquire from your nearest Coach stores or get it from Coach.com for USD598.

Gucci New Jackie

The Jackie O’ a.k.a Bouvier is probably Gucci’s most iconic bag. Jackie O’, the former first lady of the United States, whom the bag was named after was often spotted wearing one on her shoulder and marked a mile in the history of the brand. As of now, the bag is one of the most iconic bags ever created in the fashion history and Gucci has Jackie to thank for that. Decades after its original creation, the bag has been reinvented times and again. For Spring/ Summer 2009, Creative Director Frida Giannini gave the icon a face-lift by blowing the size up to larger than ever (18 3/4″W x 15 1/3″ H x 2 1/3″ D) and adding a long strap, making the bag a sling bag too. This is what i love  most about Frida Giannini. Being a younger designer, she has better understanding on the practical side of fashion, yet she is seasoned enough to not be submissive and remain original.

Miu Miu Matellase Bag in Fuschia

The Miu Miu Mattelase bag is one of the most instantly-recognizable bags that is Miu Miu even without loud logos or big a name plates. The pleated soft leather is to-die-for and the elegant shape of this bag adds on the to overall classy look without trying too hard. This piece in Fuschia is especially more delicious. The color blends well with the matt gold hardware and is not too overwhelming either making this bag appeal young despite its structured shape and business-like design. This is simply the best version of this bag to me so far. Available on net-a-porter for USD1,495. Quite a good deal for a classic, full-leather, Made-in-Italy bag.
