I adore Marc Jacobs and i think any African and wild-life-inspired stuff is uber cool but i just do not get this bag at all! I also get patchwork design and i agree that when it comes to exotics, leaving the design simple and let the materials do all the talking is the best but cutting out skins from various animals and putting them together as a flap of a bag? Definitely not what i have in mind. Still this bag is one of the most talked-about bags of the season, post-show, even before it is officially out. I had honestly thought it would have never made it to production but what do i know?

Definitely is something different, if that is what you are looking for (in fact,  being different is the only attribute i could assign this bag to) but i will not pre-order this in my sanest mind. If it is for you, pre-order from Bergdorf Goodman for USD2,850 (ouch!) for delivery before mid April. I could somehow hear PETA’s major disapprovals somewhere.
