You guys rock! I am turning 21st in a week and graduating from my Uni in a few weeks so my parents are giving me a present. I asked for a Gucci bag. Any recommendation? It is my first designer bag, i hope to love it forever. I always wear dresses and bright colors such as sky blue, white, pink and yellow. I want the bag to match most of my clothes. My mom keeps the budget at $1500.

Happy Birthday and Congratulations on your graduation! My graduation feels like a million years ago. A Gucci bag as your first designer bag is a good choice and since you come across as a little miss sunshine to me somehow, i am recommending some more feminine bags in the Gucci signature GG fabric. I always think the white leather trim on any Gucci GG fabric bags somehow makes the bag feminine and hopefully you like at least one of the three.

Versace on eluxury.com are on hot sale! And among the goods are the to-die-for bags. As with anything else Versace, the design of the bags must be over-the-top glam yet classy and these four bags are definitely in (long live Medusa!). The Madonna Boston bags (both on top) are probably the most iconic Versace bags today. I still remember my aunt frantically rushed back and forth between Jakarta-Singapore-Jakarta to hunt it down when the first white embossed leather version came out a few years back.

Lady Diana with Lady Dior Bag
In the 90s, the late Princess Diana started one spark (among many sparks she made) in the fashion history with a Dior bag that officially sent the house into bag business, hence the name of the bag is a tribute to the Lady. Today, Dior is still among the few fashion mega brands which rely more on its ready-to-wear and make-up lines for its revenue generation as opposed to on its leather goods such as Hermes, Gucci and Vuitton. Nevertheless, its Lady Dior bag is still one of the most iconic and timeless bags around.

Almost 20 years later, John Galliano updated the classic again and putting one of French hottest actress, Marion Cotillard as the new face of the house and for the bag. Leighton Meester’s Blair Waldorf in the Gossip Girl has been seen with different reincarnations of the bag throughout the season 2 of the show. The new Lady Dior bags were definitely designed with younger audiences in mind and the best part is, it is still one of the classic bags we come across less often today.

As the name suggests, this piece of Dior is for a lady, not any women, let alone girls. The bag is simple and feminine yet the owner knows herself and has discovered her own style long time ago.

I came across a lady with a Vuitton Monogram Canvas Beverly GM today. The model which used to look pretty ordinary to me suddenly appealed differently and by the end of that coming-across, i have concluded that it is a good Monogram Canvas bag to own. The bag is pretty big and spacious, practical and easy to access, yet safely secured with the clasp. Moreover, it is also one of the rarely seen Vuitton Monogram models (most likely due to its price). The classic Monogram Canvas version costs €1,030 in France. Beverly GM also available in Monogram Multicolor line in both black and white, costing more at €1,400. Just note that the handles for Multicolor version is rolled, different from the classic and the size is slightly bigger too. You could now shop Louis Vuitton online at http://www.vuitton.com as Vuitton products are no longer available at eluxury.com. Of course visiting a Vuitton boutique is never too bad an idea either.

This wallet has been available for a while and i like it. Coach only uses exotic skins on its products occasionally for the reason to keep its price point more affordable relative to the other luxury brands. The alligator billfold in this green color (apple) is irresistible. It is also available in brown, black, navy and gray but this color steals my preference. With price USD598, it is more expensive than the most wallets or even some bags in Coach collection but an alligator billfold from other luxury brands would have costed more than one grand, at the least. The only thing i dun like about this wallet is its interior, which is made with vachetta leather. It would have been perfect if it were the same skin as the exterior as well.

I had never thought Bottega would ever fall into this category of my post but here we are looking at this wide, round shape bag which sum up to weird only. I appreciate the amount of work put into this bag which what drove the ridiculous price point but was there a thought process put into designing this bag? Dun get me wrong, i adore Tomas Maier but i dun fancy this bag at USD5,200. OMG.

Ok guys, this is the best deal ever and by ever, i mean in a really really loooong time. Tod’s leather computer bag is so handsome and luxurious it kicks my Vuitton Monogram Canvas Sac Bosphore in its back. I have loved this bag since the first time i saw it although i still love the tall version more (not available anywhere else but on Tod’s website catalog only) but i am willing to make do with such a big mark-down at Barneys. The original price of this bag was USD1,850 which was pretty okay for the full leather, elegant, classy look but now at USD739???? If it were to be marked down just as much here in Singapore, i might get tempted.
