Coach Metallic Large Audrey

Coach continues impressing me with the Audrey. The textured gold leather is so unique it looks like a million bucks when it is in fact USD898. What a bargain!! Not forgetting the generous size and the tone-on-tone brass details which make it super eye-catching of couse…

Le Monde d’Hermès Automne – Hiver 2009

This reached me about 2 weeks but it is only today that I got some time taking the images and posting it. Although I do not fully get most of the things in the magazine, it is still nice seeing the pictures. It is like a high school art magazine project except with much bigger budget, I am sure. Hermes sent the magazine twice a year to their members and this is the second issue for  the year.

Oh yeah… 2009 is ending in only two months.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Stresa

Named after a town in Italy, The Stresa will be available in Monogram and Damier Azur Canvas from Vuitton Cruise 2010 collection. The beautiful shape of the bag, the size and the long straps will surely be popular with ladies who travel heavily. The Stresa is available is two sizes: PM (15.7″ x 8.6″ x 8.3″) and GM (17.3″ x 9.4″ x 8.6″) and priced at USD1,360 and USD1,520 respectively. In my opinion, pretty decently priced for monogram canvas bags of such size. If you like it, place your order now. I have a feeling this will be flying off the shelves pretty soon.

Chloé Marlow Leather Tote

Chloé ALMOST nailed it again with Marlow but something is just missing to me with this bag. I think the front is overly plain and simple. What I like about this baby is its Birkin-esque shape but still it is just not as classy and elegant, nor younger or edgier. The Marlow leather tote is still a nice bag overall but I dun think it is a bag the likes of, say… Lily Bass would trade her Birkin or Kelly off for. It is somewhat neither here nor there for me. Not a very good stand for a bag costing more than a thousand Pounds.

Mulberry Mabel Hobo Bag

We have not featured a Mulberry bag in a long time. We were in love with the Mabel and look what we have now! Seems like Mulberry is not leaving out the Hobo fans. I really think the Mabel hobo is gorgeous despite its simple design. Glad to know that despite its commercial success, Mulberry still managed to keep most of its bags’ classic beauty rather than “It” and trendy. This baby is still made in England and retails at USD825 at Bloomingdale’s. What a steal!

MCM Amazoness East-West Shoulder Bag

Joy Gryson at MCM continues surprising us with beautiful bags which are not typically what we remember of the brand. Look at this beautiful dainty shoulder bag that could have been passed off as Chanel or Lanvin but it is MCM and it is young and classy, very Manhattan upper-east-siders’ material. The leather is snake-embossed calf which explains the good price at USD880. I need to tag this bag as HOT! Well done!
