Bottega Veneta Knot Intrecciato Snakeskin Clutch

I am back! Happy Lunar New Year to you all who celebrates the change of year from the Tiger to the Rabbit.  Generally, everyone is expecting a year that is less volatile and more mild as rabbit is a tame and mild animal. To kick off our post in the year of rabbit, we have something classic, re-invented for the Spring/Summer 2011.

The Bottega Knot clutch is a classic that has inspired many other designers, including Anya Hindmarch and DvF. I personally have grown more fond of the offers from DvF simply because the prices are fantastic and for a fraction of the venerable Knot, it looks just as fabulous and classic. This teal and turquoise snakeskin is, however, by far the most exciting and unique version of the Knot I have ever seen and it is seally stunning! The price is steep at GBP1,565 due to the material and the workmanship that is the pride of Bottega Veneta.

Bottega Veneta Frayed Woven Veneta Hobo

Bottega Veneta frayed its signature intrecciato bags for this Spring/Summer 2011. The whole thing is alright for me as it exudes that “care-less” chic attitude but not compromising its quality of course. Featured here is its iconic Veneta hobo with frays. In white, it looks like made entirely of cotton to me, which is pretty surreal and interesting. Price is USD2,480 at Neiman Marcus.
