Chanel Fall/Winter 2011 Flap Bag

I rarely feature Chanel bags simply because for a house with such an influential prowess in the fashion industry, it relies too much on its classic quilted flap bags. On the other hand, I am a big advocate for a tasteful reinterpretation on a classic piece. This heavily sequined flap bag from Chanel F/W2011 collection turns out to be one of those collectible pieces. I expect the price to be around SGD8,000 when it is out and I am going to say a very rare “yes”, if you ask me whether you should get it. Just try to get it from Europe and you might be able to shave off a neat one to two grands off the price tag.

SJP with Chanel Jumbo Flap Bag

Seems like SJP lost weight by quite a lot but still keeps her weight in the style department. Most people must be waiting to see her and her SATC pals on the sequel of the movie again but honestly, I am a little skeptical by getting disappointed. Hopefully not. Anyway, SJP still looks gorgeous here with a simple black dress, slightly sporty shades and toting an ultra feminine classic Chanel Jumbo Flap in pink. Too bad we do not get to see the shoes she was wearing here.

Diane Kruger with Chanel Flap Bag

Diane Kruger is a gorgeous woman, whose goddess-like beauty in Troy, I am perpertually haunted by. Seen here with a cute yellow Chanel flap bag and chic yellow and blue outfit, she seems like a ray of warm sunlight which makes me want to dress lightly and enjoy my day in the sun joyfully. Time to go out! Oh and the bag goes perfectly well too, of course.
