I have been “feeling” Balenciaga motorcycle bags (Work and Weekender) very strongly recently. Perhaps it is in line with me embracing my “rock” side which goes from music choices to clothing style and attitude (ehem…) lately and Balenciaga motorcycle bag’s rugged and non-pretentious personality definitely fits the bill like a key to its lock. Anyway, the bag has become a classic so it is a worthy “investment”. I did not manage to get my Gucci treat i mentioned last week but i am seriously contemplating treating myself to my first Balenciaga bag. Work or Weekender? I need to try out the size this weekend. Meanwhile, the color choices for Fall 2009 are very very indulging and torturing at the same time. Balenciaga issues the bags in same design but unique colors, exclusive to the season (name it differently from season to season too) which makes it more desirable to collect. These are just few of my favourites. Work starts from USD1,595 while Weekender from USD1,695. Be still my crying heart….

I have been bitten by Zagliani bug and i am more than happy to surrender myself. And i am in love with Harvey Nichols. Why did i just visit them online recently when i have always proudly hailed them as my favorite upscale department store in Asia? Silly me! Now back to the beauty. This bag is completely and utterly gorgeous in the simplest design execution. Zagliani’s python skin is always slightly metallic and as soft as cashmere. This small shoulder bag is nothing but elegant and classy. Now tuck the shoulder chain inside the bag and voila! It makes a gorgeous clutch too. My sisters will love this baby to the core. Best thing is it is being marked down at 50% off from GBP1,100 to only GBP550. I plead you not to miss this baby.

OMG! The classic Zagliani Puffy bag at 50% off? How could it still be available? Especially in this rare stunning patent turquoise color, it just doesn’t get any better than this!! This baby has suede lining in contrasting fuschia color, more fun than the usual black/ brown. If this color combo is too striking for you, the one in classic-classic patent white with brown lining is also still available. I have always loved Harvey Nichols for their selection of goods and clearly this is not in any way disappointing. I just hate it that there isn’t any in Singapore at this point of time. This is the darling of the Gucci Fall/ Winter 2009 bag collection. The large New Jackie in Guccissima leather has stucked with me for a while since i tried it on (big enough as a man bag) and now it comes in this beautiful shade of grey (i have a soft spot for this cool color) for Fall 2009. The beauty of this baby lies in its classic iconic shape and the size which is huge, making it a bonafide statement piece. I find the bamboo tassel interesting but if it is not for you, the accessory is detachable. I am speechless now. It is exhausting to adore but not being able to own one now. The Square tote from Sang A is now officially a classic staple having been made in various exotic skins from python, sea snake to African crocodile in various colors from black to silver and lemon. The tote has also appeared a few times on screen as cameo such as to Annette Bening in The Women last year and to Leighton Meester in a few episodes of Gossip Girl season 2. What i like about this tote is its simple shape and styling which makes it literally timeless and effortlessly elegant.
