What sets Zagliani apart from the likes of Nancy Gonzalez or Carlos Falchi then? It lies on the special treatment they give to the exotic skins before it is used. The material on Zagliani bags are injected with a blend of Silicone and other ingredients by Botox-treatment method and the result is skins that are as soft as cashmere yet durable and supple. Now, who came up with that? It was Dermatologist Maura Orietti-Carella, who is also the house’s designer. The Botox-injection seems to have made the old handbag house fresh and young again. A-list celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and Kylie Minogue are now among the fans of Zagliani.

The Puffy Satchel is the house’s signature style and Janet’s crocodile version must have created her a damage of USD14,500. The Phyton version on the right is friendlier to the pockets (USD3,385) and is stunning too. Zagliani is available at upscale department stores around the world such as Harvey Nichols and Saks.
