The house of Burberry is best known for its trench coats and Christopher Bailey embraces that. Maybe not in countries like Singapore but in Europe and US, trench coats are part of daily life. Burberry might not have projects that involve artists like Takashi Murakami or Richard Prince but when Mr Bailey has a project, it involves cool unpretentious people like The Sartorialist. The project? Simple, taking picture of ordinary people in trench and the result is The Art of Trench and it is really really cool. Even cooler is you could also submit you own pictures wearing a Burberry trench and Burberry will choose the best and put in on the site. The Trench is truly wearable art.
