I have been waiting for a Fendi bag to write about and this entry is still not exactly what i have been waiting for. The Fendi Twins tote is a really nice tote with the vintage feel and simple shape but it is still nowhere as exciting compared to the original vintage crocodile Fendi tote owned by the Olsen Twins. Fendi actually reissued the tote and named it ‘Twins’ after the original created mega buzz (and clearly demands) following the Olsen twins’ being pictured carrying it. The Twins in red is somehow more exciting than in the other colors available. I am pretty sure this is due to its simple shape and styling so it takes something more to pop. Get it in this red if you have been loving this tote. The leather version is priced at USD1,890 at eluxury.com.  Alternatively, if you know how to lay your hands in rare vintage pieces or if you were a VIP of Fendi, the  original crocodile version like what the Olsens own might be just a sweet USD9,000 and a couple of phone calls away. My question to Fendi is… if you are trying to make  this rare gem more  somehow accessible to normal people, why not make one in croc-stamp leather? That would be hot!
