The Genesis is now one of the most iconic bag from Be&D and isn’t it fitting to have this rabbit fur version available right before the winter? I like the color match between the brown leather and light gray fur. I do not normally recommend bags made of fur but when it looks like this one, it is a winner. What could be one of the proudest moment for a purse designer? It is when his / her purses are being selected to grace one of the hottest TV show that define the culture and the way the world dresses, such as the Gossip Girl. The well loved brand hit the mark when Gossip Girls featured not only one but many of their bags in its latest episode last Monday. Standing out from the crowd is the studded Garbo tote carried by Taylor Momsen’s Jenny Humphrey. I think the bag is 1000% HOT!!!

If you are into studded bags but do not like one overdone, the Be & D Ludlow leather tote is worth a serious consideration. The Ludlow has all the cool and edgy elements I like from the Be & D. The bag is also convertible between a tote and a shoulder bag, made of thick leather and lined with colorful pop-art printed cotton, which offers a refreshing contrast with its exterior.
