Christian Louboutin Freddy Man Flat

I am rough with my shoes. Which is why, following some cases where I had almost killed my Ferragamos and sent them to an amazing shoe ER (a story for another day), I decided I would no longer spend more than SGD150 on a pair of shoes. It seems like a good plan until Louboutin sent me the picture of these Freddy flats. It has been months since then yet my mind is still on this pair of shoes. Has Monsieur Louboutin exhausted the money from all his lady customers and now started to exploit explore boys’ too? Price is USD1,495. I am afraid it is just a matter of time I can endure the temptation.

Christian Louboutin Sweet Charity Glittered Clutch

The Sweet Charity collection of the Louboutin bags are just incredible. This clutch is super feminine but edgy at the same time. It looks like what a Kate Spade will make but coming from Louboutin, it is quite a pleasant surprise. Price is higher than what Kate Spade would normally charge at USD795 but it is a very sweet clutch for evening parties.

Christmas Gift Ideas for Women

What do women want for Christmas? Here are some good ideas for Christmas gifts.

What we need for the Christmas and New Year is an over-the-top glam. Equip yourself for all the parties with this Prada clutch. It is available in nude, black and pink satin. Price is USD2,100 at Bergdorf Goodman.

Some dresses are meant to be adorned with a classic and beautiful necklace like this piece from the great Oscar de la Renta. Price is USD775 at Bergdorf Goodman.

The Fendi Peekaboo is one of the not so many “It” bags created in the year 2010. Fendi has decided to discontinue the bag off-the-rack from the next season onwards and make it made-to-order only from then on. The good news is, you could have your Peekaboo in any combo of outside and lining material you want. The bad news? The price will be at least USD800 higher than the current prices. Fendi is trying to drive the Peekaboo to be the (Hermes) Birkin of the house. It makes a great gift for that bag lady in your life. Get this classic version from Bergdorf Goodman for USD2,250.

A beautiful stole not only keeps your lady warm, it also literally covers her with a sheet of style. This beautiful stole is indeed more an work of art. Made of cashmere and silk, the stole is from Loro Piana, currently available at Bergdorf Goodman for USD995.

What do women want, really? If you don’t know by now that they include a pair of Louboutin shoes, you ought to. A pair of classic platform pump Louboutin to a woman is like an ipad to a man as a gift this year. Price is USD695.

To Have and to Hold Forever…

Hey ya’ll… I am back in town and in front of my computer! Another friend of mine just got married and so I went back to my little hometown. The wedding was a lovely affair, meaningful as only the closest family members and friends were invited. It was also great catching up with many old friends, a handful of which are parents now!

Another friend will get married by the end of next month. Love is in the air…

Stay tune for more bag posts. The Spring/Summer 2011 Preview is coming our way.

Christian Louboutin Ribbon and Chain Print Shopper

This shopper would make a great Christmas gift. The print is a good depart from the usual Gucci /Fendi / Louis Vuitton prints. It is definitely rare and unique and still from a famous designer. The price is not exactly cheap but for a big bag from Christian Louboutin, it is pretty fun. Pre-order it from Neiman Marcus for USD695.

White Shoes for a Bride

I learnt something new about the tradition of my hometown yesterday when I was out with my sis and a close friend shopping. The shopping trip was meant to help the bride (who is our friend) to get a few more things for her wedding which will happen in March next year. We had to find a perfect pair of white shoes for the big day. Pardon my ignorance but I really just found out that a pair of white shoes for a wedding actually ranks among the top of must-have list and hence we took the business pretty seriously.

So the conquest began. Naturally we made Louboutin our first stop and found a beautiful pair of satin bow shoes that made it to the list. Then we moved to Gucci and Jimmy Choo and found nothing. The next stop was Dior where we found a beautiful pair of Cannage in white but not the right size. Our last stop was Fendi and Chanel and in Chanel, she bought a red wallet instead before we set off to catch our movie (okay, maybe we had not taken it really that seriously after all). I just realized another thing – finding a pair of white shoes for a girl is not as easy as I had always thought. I wonder who came up with this tradition.

By the way, the Louboutin pair costs SGD1,280. I think with time, we could find better shoes with better price out there. Look at what I found from Nordstrom (could be shipped directly to Singapore):

Cole Haan Ceci Air Rose Sling Back (SGD617.59), Stuart Weitzman Jardin T-Strap Sandal (SGD569.97)

Also, I made a purchase myself yesterday. It is something I have been contemplating since July and finally succumbed to it. If you remembered something I had mentioned I liked back then (hint hint: Referred by Christian Dior as “The Master of us all”), you would have known. Will showcase it in a few days’ time.

What Were They Thinking? – Louboutin Spike Studded Shopper

Seriously… WTF?? I know some Gothic thingy could be fun and cool sometimes but this is like a Durian. I will just call this a Durian bag and it is not a pretty Christian Louboutin. I think this should be categorized as a hazard or a weapon and should not be allowed on a flight. Worst is it costs USD2,995. There is only one way a lady should carry this bag: when on the way to catch the husband cheating. If you happen to be one, I am sorry, it is available at Bergdorf for pre-order.

Sex and The City 2 Set Sneak

Then: Carrie with big ribbon, curly hair and Tutu

Now: Carrie and Charlotte in Louboutin shoes and Charlotte with a Dior handbag

While the plot of the story is still mainly kept tightly under wrap, when the filming takes place in New York, things had to slowly emerge. It seems like part of the story will revisit the quartet’s lives back in the 80s and probably how they met and became friends. While the fashion of Sex and the City as we know it has influenced many women around the world to dress up, it is a relief to know that Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha once committed major fasion faux-pas like normal women to begin with. Anyway, I hope The Sex part two is not disappointing when it finally opens in May 2010. From what we have seen and heard so far, it is going to be pretty exciting. Rumour also has it that we will finally get to see Carrie’s mom (played by Bette Midler who was spotted at the set with a Bottega Cabat tote).

What the hell happened to Miranda back then?

Some things just don’t change. Luckily it looks better as time passes by.

And here comes the mom…
