DvF Sophie Ruffled Day Bag

The beauty about DvF bags are they are fashionable but not too trendy so it makes worthy buy most of the time. The Sophie ruffled day bag is made entirely of nylon with leather trims but the nylon is ruffled all over, making it something beyond a basic nylon bag like those from Prada. This beauty costs USD595, which like most DvF bags are good value for the price. I am usually not a big fan of ruffled anything but I will make an exception for this. Also available in color lilac.

DvF Grace Zebra-Print Day Bag

Another irresistible offer from DvF for this season (besides the Lytton minaudiere I had featured last week) also comes in blue zebra-print crackled leather but in the form of a day bag. If you have been, for some  peculiar reason, holding back from buying your first DvF bag, I think you should start off with this one. At USD625 for a bag like this, is there anything else to think about? Not for me.

I have been singing praises for Marc Jacob’s upcoming bag collection, which from the previews I had seen will be amazing then I saw this lost baby. A Boho Hobo bag for GBP1,400? If I am really feeling Boho, I will take the DvF’s famous Stephanie Hobo anytime soon for less than half the price (only GBP680). The Stephanie is such a show-stopper!

Jennifer Lopez’s newest movie, The Back-up Plan was pretty funny and seriously, not bad at all. Bottom line is I enjoyed it pretty much. Back to bags – the DvF Stephanie bag appeared a few times throughout the movie and seeing it being carried, the bag is better in “person”. The Stephanie messenger is available at your select DvF stores for UD995.

What better way to make a Spring/Summer statement than a splash of bright color such as this yellow onto your wardrobe? DvF bags have been hot lately and I am glad to see that it is still on track for this season. As usual, besides being gorgeous, the bag is also incredibly worth-it being totally made of woven leather at only USD725. The Hayworth Woven is also available in white at Neiman Marcus.
