OK this might have been made of faux Ostrich leather (it is Ostrich-stamped leather) but there is nothing faux about its look! The bag has many compartments and the size is perfect for everyday bag and it is discreet Marc by Marc Jacobs without that huge label plate that is pretty lame. I think this baby is a real deal and what makes it even hotter is its price tag at only USD298. Who else can make bags like this at this price nowadays?

If you have to buy one big bag under GBP500 now, i will jump and say THIS ONE!!! Marc Jacobs did it again, with Marc by Marc Jacobs, offering a big full leather bag (size 44cmW x 35cmH x 20cmD) that is too good to pass. If this is big enough, i dun mind considering this as a man bag for travelling. I love the shape, the leather, the optional shoulder strap and the thick leather in brown. One last thing, when it opens, the lining is damn exciting compared to the common black nylon lining. The whole world should be in love. Net-a-porter ships directly to almost everywhere in the world and this lovely costs GBP455.91.

The Q Groove from Marc by Marc Jacobs is one of the best value-for-money bags around. Not only because the body is full leather but the design of the bag is also practical, timeless and versatile enough to be worn for both business and casual. The Q Groove has been reissued every season in different colors and for Spring 2009, there is this mock-croc version in stunning electric green. The bag is still full leather as usual but it is embossed with croc texture and coated in glossy finish. This bag is perfect for young executives who needs a grown-up “corporate” punch. I only wish that the blue plate had been in silver but then again it would have made the bag looks too grown-up for a Marc by Marc Jacobs. Available at eluxury.com for USD328.
